Blade forged and tempered by a great master

Katana Showa Ishihara Naotane signed

Showa era

A WWII hand forged Japanese Imperial officer blade for a Gunto sword signed Ishihara Naotane of Seki. The blade measures cutting edge 66 cm. in length, included Habaki , and has a wonderful hamon.

There are no deep chips or important sharpen marks. Slight signs of use, of course.
The shirasaya has been beautifully crafted in Honoki wood and is a great Koshiraeshi handiwork.
Total length in Shirasaya mounting: 95 cm.

Blade protected and preserved thanks to being properly saved in Japan after the war something weird as it is well known.
